Professor Alan R. Palmiter is a professor at Wake Forest University School of Law, where he has been for the past 23 years. He is the author of leading texts on corporate law and securities regulation. He has also written numerous articles in these fields, many garnering awards as the best articles of the year. Before becoming a law professor, he was a lawyer at Cleary, Gottlieb, Steen & Hamilton in Washington, D.C

Professor Frank Partnoy is the George E. Barrett Professor of Law and Finance at the University of San Diego School of Law, where he has taught for 12 years. He has written several books and several dozen articles, most recently in the University of Chicago Law Review and The Journal of Finance. He has also worked as an investment banker at Morgan Stanley and as a corporate lawyer at Covington and Burling.
